Regular price $30.00

1927 Delage Grand Prix Car, of the Miles Collier Collections, aluminum reproduction piston with steel wrist pin, used in vintage races can be ideally repurposed into the perfect objet d'art for your home or office! Ideal for upcycling!

This Grand Prix car used a 1488 CC double overhead cam in line eight-cylinder engine generating 170 HP at 8000 RPM. This was almost twice the RPM of other cars of the period.  The use of approximately 60 ball and needle bearings throughout the unit, Roots type supercharger and pent roof combustion chamber design, resulted in the Delage dominating races in 1927. The car remained competitive into the late 1930’s. The entire engine is beautifully finished, like a fine timepiece - truly no detail too small or expense too great.
